Dozier’s Regatta Point Yachting Center lies at the mouth of Broad Creek near the intersection of the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay, surrounded by the lush, green forest of Stingray Point in the community of Deltaville, Virginia. We are 50 miles north of Norfolk, 60 miles south of Solomons Island, and 90 miles south of Annapolis, on the western shore of majestic Chesapeake Bay. Situated literally yards from the open waters of Chesapeake Bay, Dozier’s Regatta Point Yachting Center offers the most convenient location to those boaters who consider easy access to fishing, diving, sailing, and other waterborne activities a high priority.
VHF CH 16 or 72
Regatta Point Yachting Center is located on Broad Creek just a mile off Chesapeake Bay on the south shore of the Rappahannock River. Enter Broad Creek close by green lighted marker #1 and proceed south in a straight line through the clearly marked channel, maintaining about 50ft off the line of red markers on your starboard.
Channel depths are 6 ft at mean low water between markers #1 and #2, but deepens to 7 ft MLW as you proceed past marker #2. Regatta Point is the first marina in Broad Creek and is located on the port (east) side of the channel, opposite red marker #8. Look for the blue Regatta Point sign on the dock. Our 400ft floating dock (dock F) runs parallel to the channel providing lay-along dockage.
Floating slips are available inside this dock by turning to port and entering between the two floating docks towards the clubhouse. One of our dock masters will direct you to the appropriate slip and assist with docking. Contact Regatta Point on 16, acknowledge, and switch to Channel 72
